today i had a free trial salsa class----- with my bestie!! fun man.... but the first thing tht got into my mind when i step in the class was tht... shit my damn shoe dun fit in with all the dancing shoes..but all well who cares... i will stick to the "i like it so i wear it" mode...
we started off with basic steps and then proceeded to the turns and all...cool...in the whole one hr we've covered like 2 lessons...
we each took turn with the guys... teacher was like damn pro... i suddenly i understand tht ur dancin partner matters!! ya... we danced with a total of 3 guys[teacher included]..and when u dance u are suppose to leave it to the guys to bring u ard.. and strangely is tht the guy with more CONFIDENCE and experience and less mistakes.[which is of cos the teacher himself].u also tend to make less mistake. had this realli scrawny guy...i find it hard to dance with him cos he kinda dun dare to make his moves... but oh well...we are all learners rite...but dancin with the teacher rox....first time got all the moves rite...
oh well today's kinda well spent cos it's with my bestie.....even if we are walking ... or sitting in the bus or waiting for my maid to bring the keys...it's not boring at all...esp sitting on the bus and making a joke abt those young guys smoking....lol...
spending the time with her made me miss those six years when we were in the same class...
